About the event
S.L.A.Y: Metro-Detroit's Eclectic Dance Showcase was created in 2010 by Brandyn "SKilz" Burton. Originally formated as a competition, this one of a kind event was formed to create scholarships funds for passionate youth who possess a strong desire to pursue a career in dance yet lack the funds to train efficiently. The funds were donated to local studios to supplement the costs often associated with quality youth training programs. We are ecstatic about the opportunity to continue presenting this incredible Benefit Showcase and eager to provide yet another opportunity for the Michigan Dance Community!!! Your participation means so much to us and we thank you in advance for your patronage and support of our endeavors to contribute to a better arts community in the state.
